Class experience
Do you love geography? If so, this is the class for you! Students will learn geography using several different methods to encourage learning. We will have discussions, draw maps, create flash cards, take quizzes, play games and create mnemonic devices. We will study countries, continents, states, land forms, bodies of water and languages. We will look at previous quizzes as we study. Class time will be broken down into learning, reviewing and practice. I will leave a few minutes at the end...
Students will learn geography with different types of fun activities and lessons. We will use past GeoBees as examples and create maps and other visual aides to assist.
I am offering this class because I have traveled all over the United States and world and have personally visited many of the places described in the GeoBee. I believe the world is an amazing place and studying Geography is fun.
A one page handout will be given out during the first session. Student will not need to purchase additional materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
