Class Experience

This class is the beginner lesson where we gather the recommended "basic starter tools" of our first toolbox.  Students will become comfortable understanding the purpose of basic tools while they also gain knowledge of proper usage and application of each device.  By being able to not just identify a tool, but to know what tool is right for what job, students become more resourceful in day-to-day activities and more confident through these important life-skills.  Through introduction and proper demonstration of usage, students will not only learn to use various tools but also open new doors by bringing ideas to life though the ability of using basic hand-held tools.  Join us in the first step to providing your child with the tools needed to be both handy and creative! This is a group participation class that combines laughter with important life skills.

I have taught a multi-subject curriculum to my own children for the past 3 years; covering all core subjects and many child-selected electives.  My classes focus on developing practical skill sets and building a well-rounded education for success in life.  

My professional background has provided me with a diverse education through a variety of worldly experiences.  

In 2008 I confounded a manufacturing company specializing in in the development and production of materials used in the utility solar power industry.  My daily responsibilities included overseeing all divisions of this new yet rapidly expanding business while creating strong and strategic industry partnerships. 

The tireless dedication to professionalism and adherence to personal values resulted in the growth of our company footprint as well as our market offering.

With a focus on positive leadership along with an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, I grew this new business into a best-in-class industry leader.  Such efforts resulted in the creation of 4 new US based manufacturing plants, over 1,000 new domestic jobs, and finally the expansion into the global market.

In my classes I focus on helping students understand the world around them by teaching fun courses that explain how things work.  My teaching style is based on educating students by providing the safe and fun environment that makes them want to participate and learn more.  The philosophy behind my teaching is educating students by keeping them engaged and interested in the course materials.  

My favorite hobby is inventing!  Building something new and exciting!  Join me and let’s share our ideas to help make them come to life!
