US Grade 1 - 4
In this on-going class, students will learn about one nation each week, including some you might not have even heard of! They will learn where the country is, its' capital, the languages landmarks, and fun facts. Classes will also include basic geography lessons including, latitude and longitude, cardinal directions, and other geography themes. Students will gain greater awareness for world geography and world cultures. They will learn fun and interesting facts about countries that are well known and some they might not have even heard of!
I have a BS in political science,have taken several courses on geography, and am finishing my Masters of Elementary Education in May 2023. I am a former elementary school teacher. I absolutely love geography, and in college my friends called me "Maps" because I was a geography nerd. I tutored geography at the college level.
