This is a class for learners who have never picked up a pair of knitting needles before, but have always wanted to try knitting! In this class we will start slow, learning slip knots, casting on, and knit and purl, and casting off. Just knowing those five things can yield amazing finished pieces! As we progress and get more comfortable, we will dive into increases and decreases, stripes, and knitting in the round. Each week we will work on a new face cloth/hand towel pattern, featuring a new stitch and/or technique.
Learning Goals
Learners will get a new pattern for a face or dish cloth each week, as we build our skills with new stitches, stripes, and more.
