Description

Class Experience

Students will explore their creativity and develop their skills as knitters by learning new stiches and stitch patterns.
Mrs. Borton has taught a regular knitting club for many years at her school, teaching hundreds of students how to knit. She has also taught knitting, quilting, and other hobbies at a local craft store, along with teaching knitting on Outschool
Students will need the following supplies: A pair of knitting needles - a size 9 or 10 At least one skein of yarn in a size 5 or 6, preferably in wool, wool-acrylic blend, or acrylic. If students want to use a smaller-sized yarn, like a size 4, and smaller needles (size 7-8), they are welcome to use those too!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
