Class Experience

In this class, students will continue to develop the knitting skills they learned through the classes "Knitting Class. Learn to Knit, Purl, and More, Parts 1 and 2."
***Please note!*** This is NOT a beginning knitting class. It is recommended that students complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of this series in order to be successful in this class.
In this class, students will be learning more complex cable patterns that can be incorporated into their own projects.
This class will be set up like a workshop. Students will see a demonstration of a new stitch pattern, and then students will work on the stitch with Mrs. Borton's help. A printed pattern will be provided for each of the new cable patterns.
Week 1 - Students will start our first new cable pattern. (Aran diamond)
Week 2 - Students will continue with the cable from week 1.
Week 3 - Students will learn another cable. (Aran diamond with seed stitch)
Week 4 - We will continue with cable 2.
Week 5-6 - Students will learn the third and final cable pattern.
(Exact cable patterns will be announced closer to the start of class. We will plan to do do an Aran diamond and an Aran diamond with seed stitch, along with another cable.)
