Mrs. Borton is an experienced knitting teacher who has been teaching knitting for over 20 years. She has a knitting club at her school where she has taught hundreds of students how to knit. She has also taught at local craft stores, teaching learners of all ages. Now she is bringing her love of knitting to Outschool!
A printed handout will be provided for each new cable pattern. Students should pick yarn that they love in a solid color and a smooth texture! Yarn can be wool, acrylic, or a wool-acrylic blend. *A size 5 yarn and size 9 or 10 needles would work well. *A size 4 yarn and a size 7 or 8 needles would also work well. *A cable needle is a MUST HAVE for this class! *Scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be using knitting needles and scissors, both of which may be sharp. Younger students should be supervised.
A printed pattern for each cable will be provided.
