Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about a simple knitting pattern that uses the knit and purl stitches. Learners should be able to complete a square knit piece with the basket weave pattern by the end of the course.
I have been knitting for many years. I am experienced in knitting scarves, hats, mittens, and more using a wide variety of stitches and patterns! I have also been teaching basic knitting classes on OutSchool for over a year. I can't wait to share my knowledge with you so you can create knitted pieces of your own!
Practice! Practice! Practice! Knitting takes a lot of practice to get it right. It is recommended that you practice knitting in your free time to help you improve your skills. Students will be asked to work on their project between classes so we can make the most of our time together.
- knitting needles (any size) - a skein/ball of yarn (any size or color) - a darning needle to sew in your tails/ends when you are finished your project (optional) - a willingness to try and make mistakes
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
