Welcome to Knit Kids! This course is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of knitting and give them a strong foundation to stand on as they begin to journey through this hobby. This course is 4 weeks long and meets once a week for 4 weeks. Classes are designed to build upon each other so that students can progressively move forward as they build their knitting knowledge and skills. - Students will need (1) skein of size 6 super bulky yarn. - Students will need US size 15 straight knitting needles. Wooden preferred not metal or plastic but any would work.
Note* DEPENDING ON THE PROJECT WE ARE WORKING ON STUDENTS MAY NOT FINISH THE ENTIRE PROJECT DURING CLASS TIME. THERE MAY BE SOME INDEPENDENT WORKING AT HOME TO COMPLETE IT.
