Beginner Level
This is a weekly knitting club for children who love to knit and may need assistance with the basics of hand knitting or knitting with needles. Students can join or leave this club at any time. Each week during our club time we will work on our basic stitches and learn what their special combos are called. Students can also work on various projects individually or together as a group. The students will learn how to: - Cast on - Create the knit stitch - Create the purl stitch - Read a knitting pattern - Knit simple projects
