This class is taught in English.
Students will show and talk about their cats or kittens and learn a fun fact (or two!) about their feline friends.
For over 20 years, I have taught specialty hand drumming and rhythm classes and workshops for preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school-age children. I have always endeavored to create an engaging, interactive, educational, and quirky experience for all participants. I am also a cat lady! I love cats. I grew up with them and am now the human caretaker, with my husband, of (now) five older rescue felines.
Students will need to bring their cat or kitten to the class.
Learners will be participating with their cat or kitten. If your child requires assistance handling the animal, you will need to be present (but remain off camera as much as possible) during the session. Further: depending on the needs of the child, parents might also need to be present during the class to help with basic Zoom functions (like using the microphone, camera, raise hand, and mute button).
Other than standard Outschool tools and Zoom functions, learners will not need to use any other apps or websites.
