Kitchen Japan - Mochi Ice-Cream (Allergy-Friendly)
Class Experience
**OVERVIEW** Students will learn to make mochi from scratch and wrap it around ice-cream. It's very delicious. **STRUCTURE** I will lead students through the recipe step by step by demonstrating the techniques, ensuring that everyone can follow along at their own pace. Students will cook along with me, asking questions as needed. At the end, they'll have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious food they've prepared. After the class, students might want to continue to make them because it's...
- Students will become more confident and proficient in the kitchen creating desserts for themselves and the family.
I have been cooking Asian-inspired foods for over 30 years, experimenting with different recipes, techniques, and coming up with my own adapted recipes. I have taught numerous cooking classes on Outschool as well as in-person.

Please be aware of any possible allergies your child might have in the ingredients. We will be using the microwave or the stove if you don't have a microwave. Please supervise your child if he/she needs help. Please be aware that the plastic wrap edge can be sharp. If your child needs help, the wraps can be precut and set aside. (Prepare 6 squares) We will also be using the freezer to store the ice cream mochi.
