In my Preschool classroom, I was an advocate for bringing the kitchen to the classroom. I have hands on experience guiding children through cooking projects and know which activities are age appropriate.
Each week, learners will be encouraged to provide:

-A picture of their final product
-Answer 1 or 2 short questions about the experience
 1 file available upon enrollment
Learners will receive the four recipes upon enrollment. This will include tips in the recipe to help you and your learner create each recipe. Adults are encouraged to always help their learner while in the kitchen. These cooking utensils will be needed to complete the recipes: -Crock pot -Food Processor -Baking sheets -Muffin tin
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be no formal assessment; each week the learners will be able to reflect on what they liked and didn't like about each dish they made.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Adults are encouraged to always help their learner while in the kitchen. Children should be supervised at all time while using the oven, microwave, and kitchen utensils.
Miss Courtney will provide a list of recipes and ingredients needed once enrolled.
