Other Details
Parental Guidance
As a history class focusing on deceased monarchs, this course will touch upon death in all sessions, including execution. In the session on Henry VII, we will discuss a war. In the sessions on Mary and Elizabeth, we will discuss witch hunts. This will not be a focus of the class and will be presented in an age appropriate way.
In all sessions, we will be discussing religion (particularly the idea of Catholic and Protestant religions and the centrality of religion in the Tudor period). This will be presented in a factual and historical way, showing what people believed and will not promote any form of religion.
Pre-Requisites
No prior learning needed, however, it would be helpful for learners to have a concept of monarchy as a hereditary concept.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
