Kings and Queens of England: The Tudors

In this class, learners will explore the world of the Tudor royal family. We will learn about how they became the royal family and how Henry VII consolidated his power. We'll explore the wives of Henry VIII and learn about changes to religion during his reign. 

We'll learn about the mid-tudor crisis and explore how a series of short reigns and changing laws affected the country. Finally, learners will explore how Elizabeth I bought stability to the throne and to the country. 

As well as learning about the monarchs, learners will also explore changes to laws and religion and how the monarchs impacted the way normal people lived.
