Description

Class Experience

Welcome to writer's workshop. Currently enrolling for 4-week Narrative writing! 

Each day we will gather to learn how to be a writer and begin writing our own stories. This class is great to spark writing interest and creativity. It is a wonderful class for enhancement, home-schoolers, or as a kindergarten writing core class. 


In writer's workshop we follow a routine:
Week 1: Introduction to writer's workshop and steps 1-5, Becoming an Author! How to come up with an idea! 
Week 2: Steps...

Students will often be asked to finish parts of their story. Students may be asked to write a story after class and bring it to the following class to share.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
