Welcome to Ms. Abby Summer Camp Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Welcome to Ms. Abby Summer Camp. Each week will have a new theme. This class will have so many fun-packed fun days. We will learn and have fun and make lots of fun crafts. We will learn new songs and fun stories.  This class is going to be fun and exciting and your learner will not want to miss it.  I am posting below each of the different themes we will be having. I will post supplies and worksheets needed two weeks at a time....

Goals for each learner 
Days of the Week

Letter of the Day (practice identifying, writing, and saying letter sounds) 
Color of the Week (practice identifying)
The shape of the Week (practice identifying)
Math Skills (sorting, patterns, counting to 10, Time, Counting, Money) 
To Learn 50-75  Sight Words during the Summer
Science

Writing sight words or working with flashcards during the week.
Unfinished worksheets

You will need general school supplies
Daily
Markers-Crayons
Paper 
White Board or extra paper

Weekly Supplies
Glue
Scissors
Construction paper
Index Cards

Extra Supplies will be needed for some crafts. These supplies will be listed 2 weeks in advance
Food Coloring
Baking Soda
Vinegar
Water Bottles
Glitter
Things to decorate and create with ( PomPoms, Popsicle Sticks, Cotton Balls, Tissue ) 
Shoe Box

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Canva
Kahoot
Youtube

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We may use scissors for some crafts. Parents may need to be close by

I will be using External Resources to help guide my lesson.
I encourage parents to practice reading books listed under the supply list. 

Canva- To display Grammer Lesson. Parents will not need an account. This will be displayed in class
YouTube- To Show Video related to the lesson if needed-Parents will not need an account. This will be used to play youtube videos helping with grammar lessons. 
Kahoot- Quizzes and Review- Do not need an account
