Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will practice reading sight words using an Octonauts themed bingo game. We will be using the Kindergarten Dolch sight word list, beginning with letters A-O.

Each learner will receive two ocean animal themed bingo cards after enrollment (to be printed and brought to class)
I will use Octonauts themed Google slides to present each word to help with learner comprehension. After I say and spell the word, learners will have an opportunity to practice it aloud....

Students will improve their recognition of kindergarten sight words beginning with letters a through o.

The printed BINGO cards, small chips or other mainuplatives for covering the words.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
