Kindergarten Review One on One Private Tutoring

Would you like your child to review get a little more practice with letters, phonics, sight words, numbers, addition, subtraction, and other core standards before the school year starts?  With this one on one tutoring class, I will assess where your student is on their journey of education and customize lessons in the areas that would best benefit them. I also welcome any feedback from parents on areas you would like us to focus on.  My goal is to create fun and engaging activities for your child that will get them excited about learning.  

The purpose of the first class will be to assess your child and give them a chance to get to know me.  Once their skills have been assessed, you will receive a message from me with a recommendation of areas I plan to focus on in the following sessions.  

What you can expect from me:  I like to ask questions during class and get the children engaged through conversation.  My teaching style is very student-centered and learner-led, I endeavor to create a calm, positive and supportive environment.

Learners need no prior experience or knowledge.  They may need parental support in using Zoom (depending on prior experience).

I can also tutor other grades,  schedule 2 on 1 tutoring sessions (for less per child), or open up additional sessions so that your child can have sessions multiple times a week. If you need specific accommodations or schedule requests, please feel free to reach out to me!
