US Grade Kindergarten - 1
⭐️Welcome to Kindergarten Review & First Grade Prep: Summer Camp! (Part 2) This class covers topics including letter-sound correspondence, blending sounds, telling time, counting, addition, subtraction, and more! This is a great class for students going into 1st grade. This class includes fun Kahoot games to help close learning gaps. Watch my class video to the end for a special promo code. This class has NO LIVE meetings. The lesson videos are under 10 minutes. It has movement, instruction, and interactive elements. Feedback & Communication: ‣ I send a weekly check-in message. ‣ Feedback on submitted worksheets are given on Mondays and Wednesdays. ‣ Written or multimedia feedback is given on submitted worksheets. ‣ Please plan 30 minutes to complete the warm-up, lesson, Kahoot, and worksheet. ‣ This class is 4 weeks long, however students may finish earlier or later. ⭐️Materials: I provide a weekly PDF of Lesson Worksheets. All worksheets can be found in the assignments tab. Punctuation

Parental Guidance
Kahoot - Kahoot will be used as an informal assessment of student learning. Students will complete the lesson’s Kahoot independently or with parent support. Using Kahoot may require creating a free account in order to access the quizzes/games.
Youtube - Youtube will be used as our lesson’s video warm up. Students will complete this warmup independently or with parent support.
Supply List
Please print the lesson worksheets before class. Learners can also use blank or notebook paper. Please make sure your student has a pencil pouch close by that contains: ‣Pencils ‣Erasers ‣Coloring supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) ‣Scissor ‣Glue/glue stick.

I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language.
I have 6 years of experience teaching Pre-K to 2nd grade. I have been teaching on Outschool since August 2021, creating interactive lessons that address learning gaps. I taught STEAM enrichment classes for Pre-K to middle school, and taught special needs students in my local school district this past school year.
I was also selected to represent Outschool as an Outschool Ambassador at a state Homeschool Expo in May 2024.
