Description
Class Experience
Children will learn to hear, think about, and work with the sounds they hear in words. Each daily lesson will focuses on the eight phonemic awareness skills, and two additional activities to develop letter and sound recognition, and language awareness. Classes are short, fast paced, and designed to keep students attention through developmentally appropriate learning strategies. Students learn to hear, identify, and manipulate units of oral language, including words, syllables, and other word parts.
I will email each student's family to provide you with information about your child's strengths and suggestions of activities you can work on at home.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher observation will be used to provide each family with a written report on your student's next steps of learning. My goal is to keep your student moving forward to our ultimate goal of them becoming a proficient reader.
