US Grade Kindergarten - 3

Is your learner ready for their second course in this learn to read series?  Do they know the short, long, and broad sounds of letters A-Z along with how to sound out CVC and consonant blend words?  Are they ready for sounds with more letters and need to master Kindergarten high-frequency words?  Perhaps your child is in Kindergarten or beyond, and you want to ensure they have a strong foundation in reading. If your learner is categorized as behind in reading or if you simply want to provide them with an excellent start, this class is tailor-made for you.

This is the second class in our 3 series Learn to Read program.  

As an experienced educator and a parent who has successfully guided several readers, I'm here to share the power of the Structured Literacy Approach. In my private sessions, I take learners back to the basics, propelling them to their current grade level in reading. This course is an opportunity for your learner to ignite their reading journey while giving them a great start in learning to read.

Pre-Requisites

Students must have taken: Learn to Read in 60 Days! Includes a-Z Sounds, Blending & CVC Words (Self Paced) OR know all the short, long, and board sounds of letters A-Z, and can blend CVC and consonant blend words.

Hello! My name is  Mrs. JaLes and I am dedicated to proving that learning is effective when kids have the freedom to explore.  What do I mean by this? From a early age our kids are learning everything from exploring (touching, engaging, inquiring, investigating, practicing, reassessing, and finally conquering).  Then they start school and we add structure and try to make them fit in a box.  As a homeschool educator, I challenge my students to live out of the box and achieve greatness by mastering skills based on their learning style and interests.  It's truly amazing the facts my kids recall without ever working on memorization and how much improvement in their critical thinking skills I've seen in such a short time.

I am a ball of eclectic fun.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and vlogging my experience.  Overall, I just enjoy living and learning as much as I can. I am excited to meet you and hope to see you in the classroom soon.
