Kindergarten Reading: Comprehension and Grammar

Class Structure:

Monday – Storytime and Reading Comprehension
•Captivating Storytelling: We kick off the week with an engaging read-aloud session featuring carefully selected children’s books.
•Interactive Activities: Through discussions, Q&A, and creative exercises, children will build comprehension skills and express their ideas.

Wednesday – Grammar Explorers
• Building Strong Sentences: Midweek, we’ll focus on essential grammar skills, from identifying nouns and verbs to forming complete sentences with proper punctuation.

•Interactive Practice: Kids will engage in fun, hands-on activities like sorting words, sentence-building games, and fill-in-the-blank exercises to strengthen their understanding of grammar concepts and guided writing exercises to strengthen their fine motor skills and storytelling abilities.

Teaching Style:

My approach is warm, enthusiastic, and highly interactive. I believe in fostering creativity and confidence in young learners through storytelling, discussion, and engaging writing activities that make learning fun and meaningful.

Learner Interaction:

Children will actively participate through:
