In this ongoing class, students will get the opportunity to practice early reading skills as they review letters, sounds, high frequency words and read sentences and poems to practice fluency.

Beginner Level
Let's practice our kindergarten reading skills together in this fun reading club! Each week we will review letter sounds, learn sight words from Fry's First 100 Word list, practice reading and writing CVC, CCVC, CVCC, CVCe words, and read predictable text. I use PowerPoint presentations, short YouTube videos, movement, and simple games to keep learners engaged. I am a kind and patient teacher and try to let all learners have a chance to talk and participate. Students will do best if they already know some letters and sounds, but mastery is not required to join the class. I try to meet each individual student where they are at in their reading journey. Hello parents and learners! My name is Rebekah Ciolli. I am from Indiana where I live with my husband and three children. I am a certified elementary education teacher. I taught kindergarten for four years and first grade for three years. I currently stay home with my own children while teaching online. It has been a wonderful experience teaching online to students across the world. I am thrilled that I am able to share my love of teaching while raising my own kids.
In the classroom, I love teaching reading and math in small groups. Magic happens in small groups! I am patient and kind in the classroom.
