US Grade Kindergarten
Does your kindergarten need to practice their reading and phonics skills? Then join me for this fun and interactive ongoing reading class. Your child will practice reading a loud and playing phonics games with their peers. After reading we will discuss what we have read. The class will include several different themes such as dinosaurs, animals, sports etc. Learners are encouraged to bring something to class for show and tell. We will read short passages that I have written, free resource comprehension passages and sight word worksheets. Summer is a great time to practice reading skills in preparation for the upcoming school year. During summer time, many students can experience "summer learning loss" where they can potentially lose 25 percent of what they learned in reading over the previous semester. This class will encourage students to stay on track and practice their reading and comprehension skills. I hope to see your learner in the classroom soon!
