Class Experience

This class was designed to support and expand upon the Kindergarten Circle Time. It focuses more intently on reviewing letters and sounds while reinforcing beginning reading skills such as blends and reading short vowel words. During our numbers time, the class will primarily focus on number recognition and identification with a goal of also support kindergarten math skills such as addition and subtraction.

Each time we meet, we will explore these subjects:

To help encourage hands-on participation, I would like each student to have a magnetic white board and dry-erase marker with eraser and a set of magnetic letters and numbers. These can often be purchased at a local dollar store or big box store.
