Description

Class Experience

In this 3-week class, young learners will build the fine motor skills in their hands that is needed for writing. While we will practice writing, the majority of this class will be focused on the skills needed to prepare your child for writing like building their hand strength and learning control while writing. This is great for students who will be starting Pre-K or Kindergarten. 

Each week we will follow a similar format: 

1. Welcome Song 
2. Finger Play Song 
3. Writing Practice Sheet...

Each week learners will need the following: 
- Printed Activity Book (will be provided before the first meeting) 
- Crayons 
- Pencil 

In addition, learners will need the following for hands-on play: 
Week One: Play-doh 
Week Two: 5-7 Pipe Cleaners 
Week Three: Paper Bag, Glue Stick, Buttons or Pom Poms (Optional: Self-Adhesive Googly Eyes)

25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

Parent may need to stay close by, off-camera, for supervision and assistance during the manipulative portion of the class. 

*** Play-Doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease. ***
