Each class we will focus on learning letters of the alphabet and corresponding sound. Letter/number formation, count by 5's & 10's. Story time and rhyming words, directed drawing,practice sight word and word families. Introduction to addition and subtraction, patterns, colors, identify basic shapes. Having these pre-academic skills will help a child to make the transition to kindergarten much easier. , 1. Week 1: Sight words- See, On, The. Letters:A,B,C,D- Numbers: 1,2,3. Learning Goals
Students will work on their letter sound relationship, correct letter formation. Learn to recognize the whole words by sight. Identify and generate rhyming words, recognize and print numerals. Complete and produce patterns. This class sharpens the skills to help children better prepare for kindergarten.

Worksheets for students will be provided by the teacher. Students are required to have a note book and a pencil / marker.
