For this 8 week course, students will be preparing for TK/Kindergarten. Every week we will review letters, numbers, as well as other math or English elements needed for the next school year. Students will be using worksheets to complete course work and will also be tracing their names. The course will go as follows (minor changes may occur such as adding material or activities): Week 1: Manuscript Alphabet and 1-10, Consonants S,T,N, Number 2, Counting, Recognizing tallest and shortest Week 2: Consonants F,H,V, Fiction and Nonfiction, Number 3, Comparisons Week 3: Consonants K,L,Q, Story Elements, Number 4, Counting, Shapes Week 4: Consonants T,D,Z, Retelling and Recalling from a story, Number 5, Counting, Addition Week 5:Consonants B,P,M, Number 6, Counting, Attributes, Patterns Week 6: Consonants G,C,J, Number 7, Making Connections,Story details Week 7: Consonants W,R,Y, Number 8, Subtraction, Comparisons, Illustrations Week 8: Letter sounds, Number 9, Shapes, Classifying

My name is Brittney, but you can call me Ms. B, Ms. Fisher or Ms. Fish. I have worked in a school setting for over 10 years. I currently teach 2nd grade.
I have an Associate of Science degree, a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree, a Master of Education in Elementary Education degree, and I am also ACSI Certified.
I enjoy teaching language arts, writing, math, spelling, science, and Social Studies.
