1 hour per week. I will tailor-make a personal curriculum that will focus on the areas of growth I see needed after our first class together. The sheets and activities I will send are all OPTIONAL but will easily further the growth at home if desired.Assessment

--- Message me for more available times!! --- Are you preparing for kindergarten? Need extra support? In this PRIVATE class, I will assess your child's language skills, Reading readiness, Math, and MORE! Then, I will tailor-make the class to help grow your student's skills and prepare them for Kinder. All children develop at different rates. It’s not unusual for kids to have strong skills in one area and need support to grow in other areas. During our assessment, I will also evaluate what type of learning style, strategies, and materials will help your child specifically succeed. Areas I will review and asses to then create a curriculum for growth. 1. Writing - Writing letters & numbers, especially the letters in their name. 2. Letter Recognition, Sounds, & Reading Readiness - We will play games, read, and work on ways to help your child recognize letters and sounds of the alphabet. 3. Number Recognition and Counting - Counting Skills - Basic Math Skills 4. Shapes and Colors - Fun Games, Songs, & Crafts will support this area of growth 5. Fine Motor Skills - Includes plenty of writing & cutting practice 6. Social Skills - Paying Attention and Following Directions skills - Discuss how to express feelings in certain situations - Role-play different situations they might experience on the playground or at school. Help find solutions for typical problems they might encounter. *** I will send you a pre-evaluation form to fill out before our first time together. This will help allow me to get to know your child and also give you the opportunity to inform me of the areas you feel are most important to focus on during our time. ***
