US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
HELLO!!! Join us for our 8 week Kinder ready Flex course! You can complete this course on your own time whenever is best for you. In this course you can expect PE, phonics, science, and geography as well as social emotional learning, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, early mathematical concepts, problem solving, language and vocabulary, pre-writing skills and listening skills. During this course we will post 3 videos a week totaling at least an hour a week. There will be different activities to do and videos will post every few days. In this class we will go over a full preschool curriculum in just 8 weeks. An accelerated, fun and super exciting walk into Kindergarten! Learners will interact with teacher and other students. Students will post their work and will comment on others work. Each week children will have homework to complete. We offer progress reports as well. Join Wild and Unstructured Learning in an adventure to grow your minds with understanding and readiness for kindergarten. The following topics will be taught! Week 1-Letter recognition, Gentle yoga mixed with fun dance moves!, Asia, What animals are found there? Where is it on this globe?, Making emotion puppets, milk painting. Week 2-Letter Recognition, Europe and the animals that live there. Where is it on this globe?, Learning how to cope with needing alone time, elephant toothpaste. Week 3-Letter Recognition, We will practice some gentle stretches to warm up our muscles., We will discuss animals we can find on the Australian continent and play What’s in the Kangaroo’s pouch?, Students will trace their hands and with a parents help write affirmations on each finger and then will decorate them how they like, making oobleck. Week 4-Letter Recognition, We will read a short story together and identify the letters we see that we know, We will discuss animals we can find in Antarctica and how they move. We will practice moving like those animals and then move on to our guided exercise, Students will practice their motor skills while doing movement with the Hokey Pokey. Children will use stuffed animals to show how to treat to others as friends and sharing. Week 5-Letter recognition, dance party!, We will practice jumping on each foot and practice balancing. We will do gentle stretching, We will travel to South America and learn about animals that live there and how they move! We will be using motor skills while moving around with our song Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. Children will make their own water cycle on a paper plate. Week 6-Letter Recognition, Yoga , We will discuss North America and what animals live there. Children will be doing an experiment on different objects to see what floats and what sinks. Children will problem solve by trying to figure out why things float and why they sink. After experiment children will add the things that float together. They will add the things that sink together. Week 7- Letter Recognition, Children will copy the movements of an animal, We will do some simple yoga, Children will be singing with movement to 5 Little Speckled Frogs, an experiment to see what dissolves in water. Problem solving with be the students guessing and testing their theory. Students will be counting how many products we test. We will play Simon says to get our muscles warmed up. Then we will have a dance party and stretching to cool down. I will teach the students a brief dance and we will practice it together! Learners will be painting with colors of emotion. Week 8-Letter Recognition. Story time. We will travel to Africa and learn about animals that live there and how they move! We will exercise together to get our heart rate up and then we will do some gentle stretching to cool down. We will also learn about animal adaptations and how they help animals. We will conduct investigations to learn about camouflage and different types of bird beaks. Students can interact with teacher and kids via the classroom. Students will be encouraged to participate fully. This 8 week course will prepare you for Kindergarten! YOUR READY!! Lets Go for it!!

Parental Guidance
This class uses a lot of movement. Please have water close by, your child should be in comfortable clothes and shoes in a mess free area so they can move freely without getting hurt. Children will use scissors in this class. Please monitor your child when they are completing this class. Thanks!
