3 live meetings
2 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
My Morning Circle Time Summer Bootcamp will provide a fun and educational start to your child's day. Classes will start with quick introductions and child sharing before moving onto our learning content. At every class students will review letters, numbers, shapes, colors, days, months etc through the fun of singing and games! Letter focus will be on correct line placement (rather than formation) and identifying beginning letter sounds to words. Students will be introduced to narration/journaling skills and complete guided tasks together each class. Math skills will progress learners from our numbers to basic math problems and skip counting. Please note that for learners to get the most out of this class I recommend that they are able to write all of their letters independently (even if some are backwards) and that they know their basic letter phonics sounds at instant recall. If your learner is not quite at this stage yet, please check out my Preschool/Kindergarten Circle Time. Themes Week 1 - 6th-8th July - Letters Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff Week 2 - 13th-15th July - Letters Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll Week 3 - 20th -22nd July - Letters Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr, Week 4 - 27th - 29th July - Letters Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx
Learning Goals
Students will solidify their alphabet knowledge and work on line placement when writing. They will start to develop early narration/journaling skills and practice identifying beginning letter sounds. Students will also learn how to use numbers in basic math problems.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello there!
My name is Hollie, whilst I was raised in England I made my home in the United States 13 years ago. I am a qualified Elementary Teacher with a Masters in Mathematical Elementary Education. Before I had my own family I taught Kindergarten in the public school system. I have been teaching ESL online for the last two years as it fits in well with my family life. I am very active and am interested in eating healthily and keeping fit. Before I qualified as an Elementary Teacher I studied at drama school and was a professional musical theater performer. I am also a qualified fitness instructor and I have taken classes in dance and Taekwondo. Our family loves the outdoor life and we enjoy hiking and camping out as often as we can. I am having a huge amount of fun homeschooling my children. We also love to bake and to create new dishes as well as having as much creative fun as we can; if that's outside all the better!
My classes will be lively, and fun yet instructional. I believe that engagement is key and that children learn most when they are engaged and enjoying themselves. My classes will suit preschool and younger elementary school children. My previous online teaching experiences benefit from a connection with every child, with 100% re-booking classes. I very much look forward to helping to inspire a love of learning in your child and being a part of your child's education.
