Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten
In this multi-day class, students will learn everything they need to know about letters and the sounds they make to have a successful beginning in Kindergarten from a real kindergarten teacher! This course is perfect for preschool students that are ready for the next level, learners preparing for kindergarten, current kindergarten students, and even first graders that need a review!

We will cover each letter of the alphabet, the sounds they make, and how to form the letters. This phonics-heavy course will use multi-sensory activities to improve retention and memorization of letters and sounds. This course includes a variety of teaching methods to help each learner reach success and feel excited about coming to class and learning. Students will utilize materials like Google slides, hands on materials like Play-Doh, sand trays, and drawing materials, and kinesthetic movement to maximize retention and mastery level skills. The teacher will also provide extra practice as an optional extension activity for students outside of the class.
***Please note: Students should be able to name and make the sound for SOME of the alphabet to get the most out of this course--that means they are ready to learn these skills.***

This course is perfect for those at the preschool age that are preparing for kindergarten and parents who want to ensure their learners are well prepared for their educational journey! This course is also perfect for preschool students that are ready for the next level, learners preparing for kindergarten, current kindergarten students, and first graders that need a review! Message me with any questions you have to see if this course is a perfect fit for your child. :)
