Class Experience
This twice weekly, semester course is developed by Ms. Margaret, a certified teacher with over 8 years experience teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. Ms. Margaret has a love for teaching and desire to inspire her students to become lifelong learners. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Periodic, optional assessments will be available in NearPod.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Weekly, optional NearPod activities will be provide for self-paced completion outside of class. NearPod is an Outschool approved app that will be accessed with a code and link provided by the teacher. This app is free with an account that parents will need to set up and games will be interactive for the student, support from the parent may be needed at first. NearPod will not be used during live classes. Interactive slides during lessons will be screen shared by Ms. Margaret and are created in Canva.
