Class Experience
In this class, learners will be engaged in interactive, video game-themed lessons that focus on strengthening learners' math skills in second grade math content while having fun defeating Mario's and Sonic's enemies. Each lesson has a variety of questions that allow students to review core mathematical skills through problem solving. Learners will strengthen their second grade math skills by showing an ability to: * use fact fluency strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems * solve word problems with a missing sum or addend * compare numbers using place value concepts * read an analog clock to the nearest hour * count combinations of dimes and pennies * identify different geometric shapes
There is no homework for this class.

Feedback will be shared with learners informally throughout the lesson. Parents will receive individual written feedback from the teacher.
