In each tutoring session, I will ask your child what they are currently learning in math to see what they already know. We will work a problem together before moving onto a more challenging skill. Every session will be different because each child will have a different need and and other skills they may need to work on. Students will advance his or her math skills by working challenging problems during class. The skills they will be learning are: Adding and subtracting with and without regrouping, geometry, time, graphing, numbers to 100 and beyond, place value, counting, quantities to 50
If parents request homework, then I will put together a homework packet to be done at home in between tutoring sessions.
