Kindergarten Math - Measurement. Join us in this one time class to learn how to use a ruler while measuring the length, height and width of different objects. This class is taught as a hands on session that uses manipulatives. Learners will learn how to measure objects long, short, wide and narrow. Identify objects regarding their weight - light or heavy and if it holds more or less. Learners will also compare size, capacity and use objects to measure length and height. Learners will learn how to measure with a standard 12 inch ruler and how to choose between centimeters and inches. - Compare long vs short - Measure with a ruler - Compare heavy and light - Measure height with objects - Compare big and small *Learners will need a standard 12 inch ruler for class, if possible. This class is inclusive and everyone is welcome. If you have any questions, please message the teacher.

Kinesthetic learning style - Class is taught with the use of manipulates for math to help with visual and hands on learning needs.
Supply List
*Leaners will need a standard 12 inch ruler for class, if possible. If you are not able to provide a ruler for class, please message me and I will provide a paper ruler you can print at home. Printable worksheets will be provided for in class learning.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
