Class experience
Welcome my kindergarten friends! In this ongoing class we will explore Kindergarten standards and skills. Each week we will begin each class with a short circle time check-in. We will talk about the letter, number, sight words and animal of the week. We will go over our calendar and practice writing dates, names etc. Teacher will upload worksheets for the week for parents to print. Class time will be used to learn different skills such as VC, CVC, CVCC words, practice site words and...
New and review concepts meeting kindergarten standards are the learning goals for this class, which will include but not limited to alphabet recognition, phonics, and math concepts.
I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development. I was a preschool teacher for 2 years. I am a certified substitute teacher and have many hours teaching in the kindergarten classroom. Language arts has been a passion of mine for many years.
