Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Letters of the Alphabet ( Sounds, Writing, and Words that start with the letter of the week) Numbers Shapes Skip Counting Colors Rhyming Sight Words Letter Blend Sounds Counting 1-50 Calendar Skills
Students will need basic kindergarten supplies which should include: child-safe scissors, crayons, glue or glue stick, a small pack of construction paper, white paper, and a pencil. White Board and Markers Please note any additional supplies will be posted two weeks in advance I recommend index cards to create flashcards for letters, sounds, and sight words. We will need about five index cards for new words each week We will have Play-doh days. **If your learner has an allergy to Play-Doh, then you are able to bring any other alternative dough for your learner to use instead of Play-Doh.* Other ideas could be sand or homemade dough We may need extra supplies for crafts or theme projects. These supplies will be posted Saturday before class. Please note any additional supplies will be posted two weeks in advance
2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We may use scissors for some crafts. Parents may need to be close by I will be using internet resources. Please know parent and learner do not need an account Canva will be used to show slides. Parents and learner does not need an account Kahoot will be playing a game. Parent and Learner does not need an account Youtube will be showing stories or short lessons.
