Online Kindergarten Class Description

Welcome to our engaging and interactive online kindergarten class! This program is designed to introduce young learners to essential academic concepts through fun, engaging, and hands-on activities. Our class provides a strong foundation in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and social skills.  


What Will Be Taught?  
Throughout this 36-week course, students will:  
✔️ Learn to recognize and write letters, sounds, and simple words  
✔️ Develop early reading skills with phonics, sight words, and storytelling  
✔️ Build foundational math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, and patterns  
✔️ Explore science concepts such as seasons, animals, the five senses, and simple experiments  
✔️ Learn about the world around them, including community helpers, maps, and different cultures  
✔️ Develop fine motor skills through writing, drawing, and hands-on projects  


What Topics Will Be Covered?  
This class is divided into four quarters, covering essential kindergarten concepts:  

🔹 Reading & Writing: Letter recognition, phonics, sight words, sentence building, and early reading comprehension  
🔹 Math: Counting, shapes, addition/subtraction, measurement, patterns, money, and time  
🔹 Science: Weather, plants, animals, the five senses, space, simple experiments, and the environment  
🔹 Social Studies: Community helpers, maps, family, emotions, holidays, and cultural awareness  
🔹 Creative Expression: Music, movement, drawing, and storytelling  


How Is the Class Structured?  
Each 2.5-hour class session includes:  
🔹 Warm-up & Circle Time (20 min): Songs, greetings, calendar, and daily theme introduction  
🔹 Core Learning (90 min):  
   - 📖 Reading & Writing (30 min): Phonics, sight words, storytelling, and handwriting  
   - 🔢 Math (30 min): Hands-on number activities, games, and problem-solving  
   - 🧪 Science/Social Studies (30 min): Thematic exploration with fun visuals and activities  
🔹 Hands-on Learning & Review (40 min): Games, art projects, movement activities, or discussion
