This is a FLEX class meaning students will experience this class through uploaded videos each week. Students will be able to share pictures of their work, comment positively to other students work and communicate with students at their comfort level about what they are learning. Students will learn...
Students will identify new letters, the alphabet sounds, letter formation, rhyming words and sight words each week.
I have been teaching pre-k and kindergarten for the last 13 years. I love teaching students to read and I am passionate about boosting their confidence and getting them prepared for success in school.
Extra practice is recommended, but not required for this course.
Handouts for the week will be sent to parents and should be printed before starting the class videos. Students will need a pencil, crayons and a highlighter. Various scavenger hunts throughout the course will ask students to find items inside of their home or draw something to share.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
