This is a full curriculum class where students can come learn a complete full year of Kindergarten curriculum when taken with Units 1-2 & 4-5. It is engaging & fun! Wild & Unstructured Learning allows children to learn through exploration.

over 8 WeeksLesson 1:
Phonics & Early Literacy
We will review vowels and consonants in the alphabet. We will use an alphabet chart to review the sounds for each letter. We will each share about something that we are excited about.

Lesson 2:
Physical Movement & Play and Geography & Map Fun
We will begin with some gentle yoga and then we will do some basic exercises to get our bodies moving. After that we will investigate maps. What are they? What do we do with them? What is on them?

Lesson 3:
Phonics & Prewriting Skills
We will learn about the short and long vowel sounds of the letter a. We will do a picture sort and then practice writing basic CVC, CVCe, and CVVC words with the vowel a.

Lesson 4:
Science Experiment
This week we will learn about animal adaptations and camouflaging. How do animal adaptations help animals? Why do they adapt? What does it mean to camouflage? Then we will camouflage paper chameleons into our environments. We will also try to find camouflaged circles and experience how camouflaging makes it harder to find them.

play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
We ask parents to be close by. At this age your child will need guidance and help. Be sure to stay off camera, but be available for them. Thank you!
