US Grade Kindergarten
This is an ongoing class that meets 2 times a week to work on a single weekly math concept. Each week we will focus on one concept. This is an Ongoing Class and students may JOIN AT ANYTIME. Activities are designed for all levels of learners. We will work on multiple different number activities using numbers to 20. We will also work on basic graphing, measuring, shapes, and more! Each week will follow the same format, but work on math concepts. Although topics will repeat at the end of the cycle, activities will be different when the topic comes around again. This is done to reinforce skills and to expand a learner's number sense. Since this is an ongoing class, it is designed for learners to join or leave at any time. This class will work on 14 week cycle that repeats at the end of the cycle. All skills will be focused on once during the 14 week cycle, however most skills are covered every week due to how the topics interact. This class is an academic class, not a social class. Students may be muted for short periods during the lesson to minimize background noise and maximize learning time. ⭐I will provide weekly resources to allow the learner multiple ways to continue their learning outside class time. Students will receive multiple cut and paste activities, coloring, flashcards to help them practice their learning outside of class. Many of the activities, worksheets and papers are materials I used in my independent centers in my classroom. After some practice, students should be able to complete the activities with minimal help. 🖍️Monday -Mini lesson -Teacher Led Group Activity 🖍️Wednesday - Activity to Reinforce Skill 🖍️Week of August 22- Numbers 0-5 🖍️Week of August 29- Comparing Numbers 0-5 🖍️Week of September 5 - Number 6-10 🖍️Week of September 12 - compare numbers 6-10 🖍️Week of September 19 - Classifying and Counting Data 🖍️Week of September 26 - Composing and Decomposing Numbers to 5 🖍️Week of October 3 - Composing and Decomposing numbers to 10 🖍️Week of October 10- No Classes 🖍️Week of October 17 - Identifying and describing 2-D Shapes 🖍️Week of October 24 - Identifying and describing 3-D Shapes 🖍️Week of October 31 - Creating 2-D Shapes 🖍️Week of November 7 - Creating 3-D Shapes 🖍️Week of November 14 - Numbers 11-20 🖍️Week of November 21- Thanksgiving Break 🖍️Week of November 28 - Comparing number 11-20 🖍️Week of December 5 - Comparing number to 20 using graphs.
