Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to determine between two objects, what weighs more or less. Also, how to read a thermometer, calendar, a clock, and how to use a ruler.
There is no homework for this class, only practice.
For all classes, the student will need a pencil, crayons or colored pencils, paper and ink to print off worksheets. Also, for each class the supplies are listed below. Weight/Mass - plain manilla folder, pencil, glue Height - plain manilla folder, ruler, glue Length - plain manilla folder, ruler, glue Calendar - plain manilla folder, glue Clock - plain manilla folder, brass plated fastener, glue Temperature - plain manilla folder, glue All coversheets and worksheets will be provided by the teacher per class. There will be pictures to cut out prior to class, parents please supervise and assist your learner with this task for safety precaution.
The learner is informally assessed during class discussion of the worksheets and examples.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
