Kindergarten Circle Time Fun: Full Year Curriculum Multi-Day - Month 4

We will spend the first few weeks going over the alphabet and numbers to 25.
We will learn CVC words.
We will rote count to 30 and count backward as well.
We will also be learning a little about our themes based on the letter we are working on.
We will be learning songs, fingerplays, moving our bodies, and learning kindergarten skills.
We will be learning literacy, reading, and other letter-based learning
We will be learning about weight, time, 2D and 3D shapes, and other number-based learning such as skip counting
We will be learning about our communities and the world around us 
We will be learning how things grow, doing science experiments, and talking about the plants and animals that live in our world
We will be learning about different artists, types of instruments, and music
We will learn about the beginning and ending blends, diphthongs, digraphs, and more.
We will be learning about CVCe words

I have been teaching for more than 30 years in classrooms from birth to 12th grade. My last position was a preschool/kindergarten teacher working with 4, 5 and 6 year-old children for the past five years. 
I  attend regular educational classes to stay current on teaching styles and incorporate what I have learned into my classes. I want everyone to have fun! I am not one to mute learners unless absolutely necessary. 

I will be including resources weekly that include letters, numbers, color pages, writing, cutting and other kindergarten skills that you can do at your own pace as you see fit for your schedule.

This is a group time which exposes the child to letters and numbers and a variety of other subjects. Learners are assessed through observations and participation in our discussions. Discussions with the children during our time together will help assess the child's understanding of each theme, letter and number or other concepts we are woring on. 

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
