Students will review math skills learned in kindergarten such as counting, making numbers 2-10, and solving addition and subtraction math stories. This is intended to be a summer refresher for content taught in kindergarten before heading to first grade, or as a form of tutoring for those in kindergarten that benefit from extra practice. Day 1 and 2 will look similar, covering all concepts on both days. Students will play various teacher lead games and complete white board work with the added fun of Disney's Frozen. This will be small group, fast paced, and students will receive immediate feedback. See supply list in advance!
Learning Goals
Students will improve counting, modeling, and operations within 10.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been an elementary school teacher since 2006, and have been blessed with classrooms full of children from grades pre-k to 5th. In every grade taught, my main goals remain the same; I want students to grow a love for seeking and learning just as much as I want them to grow academically.
When I am away from the classroom, you will find me spending time with my family, playing with my labradoodle pup, reading, trying new recipes, and being physically active. I enjoy hiking the Sonoran Desert, dancing, weight lifting, and yoga.
