Students require a flute (most young students will require a curved head joint!)

I recommend purchasing a Blocki flute both for the economical value but also the tone quality and flexibility of the flute. The Blocki flute comes with the required method book and pneumo pro.

ALL STUDENTS will require the Blocki Flute Method Book 1 and the Pneumo Pro(DVD edition not required but helpful!). These items can be found on www.blockiflute.com

Alternatively students can purchase the NUVO flute. This is a plastic flute that is a little more fun with a variety of colours and can take more abuse (dropping, accidental hits, etc). Please understand that while this instrument is cheaper, we can only play 3 notes on this one with the book so you will be required to upgrade sooner than later but will make it through most of this level using this flute.
