Beginner Level
This self-paced class will take 13 weeks to complete, with two lessons a week. Each video session with Mrs. Judith is 10-15 minutes long. The videos are designed to be short to ensure that children are fully engaged in the lesson. After the lesson, there will be a worksheet for children to complete. This worksheet will be shared with me after each lesson so I can see the amazing work your child is doing. Each week has two lessons to work on reading readiness strategies using repetition and a multi-sensory approach. The learner will also be getting used to the routine. The lessons follow the following structure: Welcome Materials Phonological and phonemic awareness Letter of the day lesson Sound practice Vocabulary introduction Reading Fluency practice Handwriting practice After lesson worksheet

Hello Beautiful Souls!
My name is Mrs. Judith I have a B.A in Psychology and a teaching license in Special Education. I have taught in a dual language school and I am hoping to incorporate a dual language approach in my classes. I am passionate about providing academic support and ensuring no child gets left behind. I am a big advocate for inclusivity, your child will feel loved and welcome in my classes.
As a special education teacher I have learned to target instruction to my student needs. Therefore my classes will be focused on filling gaps in your child's education. I am a big believer in multi-sensory learning.
On my teaching page you will find classes that target the science of reading that include early reading instruction such as phonemic awareness (manipulating individual sounds) , phonological awareness (recognize spoken language ).
I will also teach math, social skills, and teach spanish.
