Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, I'm Ms. Courtney! I offer fun exhilarating dance and fitness classes for everyone to enjoy! I have been teaching kids dance and fitness classes for over 10 years. I have experience in teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, kids Zumba, tumbling, and creative movement classes. I love to teach children dance classes because it gives them the opportunity to express themselves through the movement of art. Dance has always been a passion of mine since I was 4 years old. I started teaching dance my freshman year in high school at my hometown dance studio. I attended Winston Salem State University and earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. I also danced on the dance team in college. I am a certified group fitness instructor, licensed Zumba, kids Zumba pro instructor, professional dancer, educator, and director of Dancing On The Go, LLC a mobile dance company. I am known as the dance teacher with the bubbly personality who likes to have fun. I can't wait to get moving with the little ones and spread my excitement for dance with them.
