Description
Class Experience
Students will learn beginning phonics words. By the end of class students will be able to read & write at least 3 sentences. Students will answer questions given by teacher. Students will explore small words with teacher guidance. This course is design for advanced learners ages 4-8.We will explore two & three letter words/colors. *Introduction *Use index cards to write 10 words each live meeting. * Practice Words that rhyme. * "I spy" words game. * Create a sentence using words. Students will be able to decode small rhyming words. Students will practice learning words to create a sentence.
I love teaching phonics! I have been teaching young learners for 3 years. I enjoy decoding words and making fun sentences using engaging games & activities.

At the end of each lesson, I will review words with students and together we will make sentences. I will give informal assesments.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Basic phonics letter and blending skills needed for this course. Students should be able to read small words (such as I, at, the, my).
