As a homeschool Mom I am a believer in following learner’s passions and making learning fun. I have seen the ageless sparkle in learner’s eyes when they find an interesting rock and followed this natural curiosity for inspiration in creating this class. I have done the hours and hours of research into geology, petrology and consulted with my expert rock collector children themselves in creating this "Kids Rock Camp!" In short, we dug up all the dirt on rocks and minerals and kept it fun, informative, and relevant keeping learning rich and inspiring. :)
Students may want to start their own rock collection.

Optional homework is provided, worksheets will be uploaded to the online classroom to practice their new skills and knowledge.
Materials Required Each Week: Paper and pencil Crayons/Markers If your learner has a rock collection, please bring it to class!
