Description
Class Experience
This class is a private virtual art party! Students will get to celebrate with their friends while making a fun and easy artwork together. Our class will begin with introductions so everyone can say hello to each other. Then I will lead the students through a step by step demonstration of how to draw our picture. Once we have drawn our characters, I will show students some simple painting techniques to use to add color and excitement to their pictures. While my directions are detailed,...
Students will be able to celebrate together with their friends by making a fun and easy artwork.
Some students may want additional time after our party to finish their artworks.
Supplies Needed: - 9x12 Thicker white paper suitable for painting - Pencil with eraser - Crayons - Black Sharpie marker - Watercolor set (Prang or Crayola recommended) - Watercolor brush - Container with water (a container with a wider base or a bowl is less likely to spill) - Paper towels **You may also want a piece of poster board or large paper to cover the work area.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
